Aerostats or helium balloons are environmentally friendly and “flying” means anchored in a strategic location, ideal for emotional communication or scientific measurements at high altitude.
Aeronord Aerostats specializes in the construction, customization and rental of advertising aerostats, which are:
- filled with helium-an absolutely inert, nonflammable gas;
- Illuminable from the inside;
- elevated inside exhibition halls or in the sky at altitude (according to ENAC regulations and approvals);

Helium balloons for scientific research
We use premium materials, tested over the years and selected for durability, reliability and performance.
The inner shells of our aerostats are made of high-frequency welded polyurethane, a material that provides high tolerance of temperature changes (with excellent shape and helium retention), tensile strength, impact, and flexibility. Excellent resistance to oxidation and radiation, non-reactivity to oils or other external agents, and non-toxicity. Our aerostats are used by several Italian universities for scientific analysis at high altitudes and at the North Pole.

Aeronord Aerostats strong in its experience since 1960 in the aerostatic field, offers various services for Hot Air and Gas Balloons.
Since 2009 Aeronord has held the EASA certifications (approval IT.CAO.0038) allowing it to perform all permissible maintenance operations and airworthiness review with ARC issuance on hot air balloons and related components (casings, baskets, burners and cylinders). Ten-year cylinder inspection service with pressure testing is also available.

Hot air balloons are large-scale, environmentally friendly advertising media for emotional events.
It is possible to reproduce brands and images to be placed on the envelope or basket.
Aeronord is the only company in Italy to offer services with a gas balloon, in addition to a hot air balloon.
Differences and special features of the two media:
Gas balloon
It is customizable in almost the entire surface, can be used in braked flights (capacity ca 24 people per hour for activities of about 6 hours) or in exciting free flights in which you will float in the air enveloped in absolute silence.
Compared with the hot-air version:
- has greater autonomy
- can fly at any time of the day, so for the whole day, even during the hottest hours;
- is more customizable
- remains inflated during the event;
- rises to a higher altitude
- Is totally silent.
Hot air balloon
It is customizable in part of the envelope and can be used in braked flights (capacity of 25 to 35 people per hour, depending on size, for activities of about 2 hours) or in exciting free flights.
Compared with the gas version:
- has larger dimensions
- Is fast in assembly and disassembly
- lights up like a light bulb at night
- is very colorful
